ARC Ratings is an international credit rating agency whose mission is to deliver global benchmark quality credit ratings, commentary and research by working with our clients’ businesses constructively to evaluate their credit risk, whilst offering an independent and objective assessment to investors.
We are dedicated to improving the risk/reward decision-making capabilities of investors globally, while allowing issuers to access capital markets at premiums commensurate with their objectively assessed credit risk.
Having been accorded the same ECAI mapping as the larger agencies, our ratings can thus be used for capital relief purposes under the standardised and rating based approach, as well as under Solvency II. Our aim is to produce honest and transparent ratings that are driven by our analysts’ deep subject matter understanding of the market, product and clients. We have designed criteria which clearly define our approach to ratings and are enveloped in our strong governance and culture.

The group also includes ARC Analytics, which provides complimentary access to a suite of analytical tools, data and insights to support market participants in their risk analysis across various asset classes, and recently completed a strategic investment in Concept ABS, the leading primary-market ABS data provider across Europe and Australia.
