Andrea Daniels is Associate Managing Director at Moody’s Ratings based in London. In this role, she leads a team that rates and monitors Commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) and Data center securitizations in Europe.

Prior to moving to London in 2011, Andrea began her 20+ year-career at Moody’s as a lead analyst within the Structured Finance Group in New York with responsibility for producing credit ratings on a variety of US CMBS transactions and authoring research in the sector. She rose to become a Senior Credit Officer and team leader in the US CMBS surveillance team responsible for the monitoring of large loans and single borrower transactions.

Ms Daniels is also actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion at Moody’s having served as Co-chair of both the Women’s and Black Impact Business Resource Groups in London.

Before joining Moody’s, Andrea worked as an Asset Manager within the Real Estate group at Aetna in Hartford, Connecticut. Andrea holds an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from the
University of the West Indies in Jamaica.
