Edwin has focused his career on NPLs and structured credit for the last 11 years with previous experience from Deutsche Bank and KPMG.

At Alantra Edwin has been responsible for transactions across NPLs, ABS and M&A across multiple jurisdictions. Edwin has taken an interest across multiple asset classes and in particular in esoteric ABS asset classes such as unsecured RPLs and litigation funding. Edwin’s notable recent transactions include acting as arranger on the first rated reperforming unsecured ABS, the first reperforming ABS deal in the Nordics, the sale of debt purchase platforms in Bulgaria, Spain and the Nordics as well as a capital raise for a litigation funding platform.

Edwin started his career in Private Equity audit at KPMG, before transferring to the Portfolio Solutions Group, which the leadership of the Alantra FIG team originates from. He was previously a director in Deutsche Bank’s Emerging Markets Structured Credit team, focusing on principal investments and joined Alantra in 2018.

Edwin’s has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nottingham and is a qualified chartered accountant.
