Gianpaolo is a leading structured finance practitioner and partner in the Dentons Banking and Finance practice in Italy. He is passionate about AI and fintech and their role in enhancing efficiency, risk management and decision-making throughout the securitisation and structured finance lifecycle – from origination and underwriting to ongoing servicing, monitoring and reporting. He has significant experience in structured finance and capital markets transactions, and advises also on Italian banking and financial services regulation, with particular focus on derivatives, CRR, MiFID 2, ESG-products and securitization and fintech regulations.
