Juan is CEO and co-founder at Fence finance, a tech platform to manage and automate monitoring, reporting and payments for ABL and ABS. Fence leverages APIs, smart contracts and tokenization to enable instant capital flows and provide real time visibility on the underlying portfolio of assets. Their clients are saving 80% of back-office costs and up to 30% of the total cost of capital.

Before Fence, Juan spent years developing blockchain smart contracts to automate the management of up to $7bn in the decentralized finance space.

His prior experience includes leading B2B and B2C internet startups in Southern Europe and Latin America, mainly focused on digital product development and marketing. These include a Car-as-a-Service startup that raised $100m+ in asset-backed debt, where Juan discovered how inefficient debt capital markets can be.

Juan holds a MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Centrale Supelec, Paris and ICAI, Madrid.
