Maria Divid is a structured finance professional with broad experience in securitisation credit risk, structuring, and investment. She is currently a Senior Director in the Structured Finance Primary Ratings group at Scope Ratings, where she leads analytical work on structured finance transactions with a focus on fund finance, including subscription line facilities, and contributes to rating committees, research, and methodology development.

Before joining Scope, Maria worked at Legal & General and Phoenix Group, focusing on sourcing, structuring, and executing Matching Adjustment‑eligible transactions backed by equity release mortgages. Earlier, she spent over a decade as a structured finance analyst at Moody’s Investors Service, acting as lead analyst on RMBS, ABS, and CMBS transactions.

Maria holds an International Master’s degree in Economics, Finance and Management from Humboldt University Berlin and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, and a B.A. in Quantitative Economics with honours. She is also a CFA charterholder.
