Mehdi is SVP, Global Head – Credit, responsible for setting, monitoring, and executing on the Credit portfolio strategy at RenaissanceRe.

Mehdi joined RenaissanceRe’s Zurich office in 2021 with a strong background in structured credit and has been a leader in the Credit team most recently as Head of Structured Credit and Head of Credit – Europe.

Prior to joining RenaissanceRe, Mehdi was part of the investment team at Bayview Asset Management and previously held positions of increased responsibility at Credit Suisse, in London and Zurich. His expertise spans across various aspects of structured credit, risk transfer transactions, banking regulation and risk management. 

Mehdi holds a master’s degree in Financial Engineering and Statistics from the University of Paris Dauphine.
