Mike helps banks, corporates, and FMIs launch tokenization, trading, FX, and other wholesale finance applications on Avalanche. He previously served as Amazon’s first Head of Blockchain and Digital Currency, where he led the company’s strategy for applying blockchain technology to deliver value to consumers, sellers, and partners. Before Amazon, he worked at leading capital markets blockchain firms Figure Technologies and Symbiont, focusing on on-chain debt issuance and FX collateral management. Mike was also the founding CEO of DealVector, a fintech improving transparency in asset-backed securities, where he remains a board director.
