Steven Ong is a Structured Finance & Derivatives consultant in Weil’s London office.

Steven has long-standing structured finance and securitisation experience, spanning a number of asset types (including consumer assets, CLOs and whole businesses), representing originators, arrangers, derivative counterparties and bond trustees. He has advised extensively on residential mortgage securitisation and portfolio sales, as well as on restructuring, insolvency and crisis management matters following the financial crisis.

Steven has a particular focus on financial regulatory and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) / sustainability matters.
