Wasif Kazi manages UniCredit’s securitisation activity in Central and Eastern Europe. He has extensive experience originating and executing a wide spectrum of securitisations including credit cards, consumer loans, auto and equipment leasing, diversified payment rights and residential mortgages as well as covered bonds and infrastructure (ports and airport) bonds. Prior to joining UniCredit, Wasif was at Fitch Ratings as a securitisation analyst and started his career as a finance lawyer advising on a large number of transactions including many high-profile leveraged buy-outs, project finance and PPP/PFI transactions. Wasif has degrees in law from the University of Cambridge (LL.M.) and the University of Manchester (LL. B.).
