Getting to the CCIB

Metro

Barcelona's metro system is a convenient and efficient mode of transportation, connecting various neighborhoods and attractions throughout the city. With an extensive network of lines, you can access almost every corner of Barcelona. To reach the CCIB, take Line 4 (Yellow Line) to the "El Maresme | Fòrum" station. From there, it's just a short walk to the convention center.

Bus

The city's bus network is well-developed and offers an excellent alternative to the metro. Buses cover a wider area and can be particularly useful for exploring neighborhoods that may not be directly served by the metro. To reach the CCIB by bus, you can take several lines, including H16, V27, and 7. Check the official TMB (Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona) website for the most up-to-date routes and schedules.

Tram

Barcelona's tram system is another enjoyable way to travel around the city. Trams offer a scenic ride, especially along the coastal areas. If you're coming from the city center, you can take Tram T4 to the "Fòrum" stop, which is a stone's throw away from the CCIB.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct and convenient option, taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber or Cabify are readily available throughout Barcelona. Taxis are usually easy to spot with their distinctive yellow and black colors. When using ride-sharing apps, make sure to select the appropriate pick-up and drop-off points for the CCIB to ensure a smooth journey.

The Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB)

The CCIB has become a benchmark in Europe as a venue for the organisation of events and congresses. The Convention Centre is the work of Spanish architect José Luis Mateo. It has been the home to Global ABS for many successful years.
